Brown Sugar BBQ Chicken

1 lb chicken
10 oz can condensed tomato soup
¾ cup chopped onion
¾ cup vinegar
3 T brown sugar
1 T Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp dried basil


1. Place chicken in a slow cooker (4 qt or larger)
2. Combine remaining ingredients in bowl and pour over chicken, making sure all pieces are well covered
3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours
